Welcome to St Agnes’ Primary, a special place of learning and growth where your child is nurtured in a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment. We believe in upholding high standards in all aspects of education, grounded in the enduring values of Faith, Hope, and Love. At the heart of our mission is the unwavering respect for the dignity and sacredness of each child. Our dedicated staff work in close partnership with parents, fostering a strong and collaborative community, to cultivate in our children a profound awareness of God's presence in their lives.

Inspired by St Agnes, a beacon of unwavering commitment and loyalty to Our Lord, we strive to instill in our students the virtues of true discipleship. Her example illuminates the path of walking in love with God, a path we encourage every child to embrace.

Our staff are passionate about fostering a lifelong love of learning, creating a happy and accepting atmosphere where every student feels valued. We employ a personalised approach to each child's educational journey, ensuring that learning is tailored to individual needs. Both children and families are actively involved in goal-setting processes, empowering students to take ownership of their learning and strive for continuous improvement.

We encourage children to embrace challenges, take calculated risks, and set high expectations for themselves. Our teachers collaborate closely, designing rich and engaging learning experiences that stimulate curiosity and promote critical thinking. We believe in providing a rigorous academic foundation, while also nurturing creativity and fostering a spirit of inquiry.

Our highly successful Parents and Friends Committee plays a vital role in enhancing our school environment, organising annual fundraising initiatives that provide valuable resources.

St Agnes’ Primary offers a wealth of opportunities for children to excel in various areas. Our expansive Creative Arts program, featuring extracurricular activities, culminates in the highly anticipated annual Creative Arts Spectacular, a night of unforgettable performances and artistic expression.

We provide a diverse range of morning and lunchtime activities, including Tuckerbox Prayer, Christian Meditation, Coding Club, Robotics, Garden Club, Music Ministry, and Junior and Senior Choir and Band. These activities enrich our students' lives, nurturing their spiritual, intellectual, and creative development.

Recognising the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle, our school oval serves as a vibrant hub of sporting activity. Students engage in a variety of sports, including soccer, touch football, basketball and organised games. We are committed to developing our students’ sporting talents, providing opportunities for representation at local, diocesan, and state levels.

Our Positive Behaviour Support for Learning program embeds the values of Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, and Resolve, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. We emphasise the importance of community support, engaging all key stakeholders in our students’ well-being. Our Year 6 and Kinder Buddy program, Peer Support Program, Student Representative Council, Staff Professional Learning Teams, Class Parent Network, and P&F Committee all contribute to making St Agnes’ Primary a truly exceptional place to learn and grow.

We extend a warm welcome to you and your family, inviting you to join our vibrant and caring community. We look forward to partnering with you on your child's educational journey over the next seven years, nurturing their growth in Faith, Hope, and Love.
